I have spent most of my career helping investors make sense of Asia Pacific’s fast-moving real estate markets. I lead regional research and strategy at a global real estate investment management firm, where my work sits at the intersection of markets, capital, and decision-making. It involves shaping investment agendas, supporting portfolio strategy, and guiding conversations across cities, sectors, and market cycles.
Over the years, I have worked on transactions across the region, served on investment committees, and partnered closely with investment, asset management, and capital teams. What I am best known for is turning complex market intelligence into clear, actionable insights. Less theory for theory’s sake, more clarity where decisions actually get made.
While much of my experience comes from private equity real estate in Asia Pacific, the lessons extend well beyond the industry. The realities of influencing without authority, navigating ambiguity, building trust, and shaping decisions are common across finance, consulting, technology, and many other fields. A significant part of my work, and writing, reflects on these shared challenges and how people build durable careers in roles that operate between strategy and execution.
If you are curious about how strategy informs investment decisions and translates into capital allocation, or how to think more clearly about your own career in complex organizations, you’re in the right place. I offer thoughts on how to approach any job. What it means to build a meaningful career, how roles evolve, and why clarity, adaptability, and quiet conviction may matter more than loud ambition and titles. Hit me up!
